A Summer Eve

I have been playing a lot with negative painting lately. My latest ventures are into doing landscapes. And of course, the seasons affect what I paint. Ever notice that happen to you? I did several winter landscapes in January with naked trees and snow. So, of course now that it is June, I am painting leafy trees and meadows filled with flowers.
What is wonderful about the negative painting is all the imagination that can be poured into it. I don’t use a reference photo. There is only what I see in the paint that dictates what will be painted.
