When we are starting out on our painting journey, we want to paint everything.
Including everything in our photo.
There are times when you need to ask yourself,
What am I seeing here?
Does it make sense?
Will it make sense to the viewer?
If it doesn’t make sense, you have the option of leaving it out of your painting or changing it to tell a better story.
You are the artist after all.
