Last month I received an email from a company called VIDA, requesting that I become one of their designers. Well, I kinda forgot about it since I was in the middle of another huge project. Then last week, I received another email and decided to take a look into what VIDA is all about.
VIDA is a global partnership of creators, pairing designers from around the world with makers in Pakistan in accordance with high ethical standards, to create original, beautiful, and wearable products. VIDA also uses proceeds from their sales to create literacy programs for the makers, providing them with opportunities to receive an education that otherwise they would not have.
As I looked more into the company, I liked what I saw and immediately thought of some of my work that I would love to wear as a scarf or shirt myself. So I decided to give it a try. And here are some of the results:
