This past weekend I had the wonderful opportunity to take a workshop from the amazingly talented Soon Warren.
It was such a pleasure to be taking a course instead of giving one. I thoroughly enjoyed being a student and not only learned new techniques but became validated in my own way of doing things. It made me want to return to doing detail work because I get so lost in it.
Although, I must admit, Soon taught how to paint detail in such a simple way.

Thank you Kathryn. Yes, there is a way! Especially if you tend to go about doing everything the hard way, like I seem to do. (hence a career in watercolor!)
