I started teaching how to paint different water scenes in watercolor on Thursday. This is my second time teaching the course and what is great about it is that it is almost all new people.
My first demonstration was how to do a sunset over the ocean. It is another one of my smaller pieces (7×10″). I started them out with glazes (washes of wet paint over dry) of yellow, red, then blue. The boat is then painted and more waves are created with a darker blue.
