A few weeks ago I taught a pouring watercolor workshop at the most awesomest of painting supply stores – Daniels Smith Art Supply in Seattle, WA. Daniel Smith also happens to be the manufacturer of some of the best watercolor paint ever! Including quinacridone rose, which is what I used in the above painting.
Yes, Lily the Pink was the painting that I demonstrated to the class. Some followed along with me and some chose to do their own paintings and came away with their own wonderful creations.

Lovely colors throughout, but I'm really impressed with the clean darks you got :) Yes, DS has great paint – I've been a fan for years and use nothing else but an occasional Holbein or Winsor Newton someone recommends.
