Lost At Sea
Watercolor on Clayboard
8×10″
I’ve been working more and more with watercolor on clayboard (also called Ampersand Aquabord).
The surface has a beautiful pebbly surface that accepts watercolor quite nicely.
The above painting went off to Madrona Gallery last week along with my painting, Reflection.
Lovely rendering of a difficult subject.
I love that painting, it's such a poignant scene with so many possible stories to tell. Very nicely done with the colors adn creating the mood. Glad the clayboard is working well for you!
Thank you Asit!
Katherine, I am glad you like it:) The clayboard is just wonderful. Have you tried it?
That clayboard sounds very interesting. Do you have to do anything special to it first?
