I did it!! I am now a Master!!
Yippee!!
Thank you to everyone for all your encouraging words and for helping me through this.
It has been a long journey over 3 summers but I did it.
My thesis project ended up being on painting Yellowstone National Park.
I journaled this process and ended up writing and designing a book about it.
This book may become available for purchase.
Here is the longer version of the video I put up a couple of weeks ago.
This is the video I presented to my thesis committee yesterday.
Learning how to create the video was part of my project.
Hope you enjoy!

  • Thanks Sadami! I must say that the writing was the hardest part of the program. Glad that is over with.

I found your blog through youtube after watching one of your poured watercolour videos. i have to say your work is immense and so unique(as far as i know anyways haha) you must have the patience of a small god with all that masking fluid though. congrats on doing your masters, i see its in art education – I wish i had you for my art teacher at my college we might actually learn something good and worth while. I'm not a very good artist atm if im honest, but if i ever manage to create even something as close to as good as your work then I think ill be happy. keep on creating! (i think ive just become your new fan girl, hope you dont mind :)

  • Guinevere, you are too cute! Thank you for your comments. I hope we continue to correspond and share each others work.

  • Congratulations! Its great to see hard work rewarded and you have earned it! I love your poured watercolours and have to confess you have had me playing around with liquid colour since I found your first video, so a big thank you for inspiring me to go and get messy and do more than occasionally sketch. Your pupils are very lucky to have such a wonderful and inspirational instructor!

  • Thank you Caroline! I'm so glad to hear that you are playing!! It is so worth the mess:) best of luck to you.
