My painting Fish Food has been accepted into the Northwest Watercolor Society 74th Annual International Open Exhibition. Yay! It is so exciting to be a part of this show. There were nearly 500 entries from all over the world and only 62 were accepted. My friend and once upon a time student, Sandra (Sam) Boehner also got accepted into the show. That was just as exciting to find out.
Last week I delivered the painting to another artist whose work is in the exhibition, Debbie Haggman. Debbie was kind enough to deliver our paintings to Seattle for us. She lives just over the border in Washington state and it was a great excuse to return to my home country and go shopping! Of course I took the kids and we had a good time shopping for sandals and summer clothes.
The exhibition will be held at the American Art Company in Tacoma, Washington from April 19 – June 6, 2014.
