Tofino Driftwood is a painting done with my landscape class. Living on the west coast of Canada, the driftwood is a common scene and is part of many of my paintings.
This is really beautiful Leslie. Did you use opaque white to get the feel of the mist or is this solely transparent watercolor? If it is, how did you get such a wonderful effect?

Thank you Nancy. It is solely transparent watercolor. I got it by lifting the color out of the trees with a damp brush while the trees were still wet.
Fabulous.
Beautiful picture, love the sea mist.
Thank you Asit and Gillian!
