This painting is my favorite out of the cow paintings that I poured (one more yet to come!) She is the cow that lives next door to my friend, Cathy. Cathy lives on a lavender farm on the Saanich Peninsula surrounded by beautiful vistas of the island and the water. I am lucky to have so many wonderful friends with inspiring places to paint!
Now I just need to paint the lavender in bloom.

This is very good. But my favorite is the previous cow painting you posted. There is so much innocence in their eyes.
The foreground is different and interesting.
